Laminates

Richdale Plastics can supply finished laminate rewind, or we can re-engineer your laminate to a more sustainable film option, removing PVDC coated PET, Foils & Nylons while still providing high barrier properties within the film, to give great shelf life to finished product.

VSP

New to our range of technical films made on site is “VSP” – Vacuum Skin packaging. This format of packaging is being used in Red Meat packaging on supermarket shelves.

VSP packaging allows optimal presentation of product on supermarket shelves and also keeps the product fresher than product packed in trays with lidding. Will suit applications such as

– Fish and various other applications

TIF

Richdale Plastics TIF Film (Totally Impermeable Film) is the leader when it comes to fumigation films available in Australia. Our locally manufactured 7-layer Co-extruded film (which contains a Barrier Resin – EVOH) makes it impermeable to the fumigants. This means the fumigants are retained under the film for longer allowing it to penetrate the soil, controlling weeds and soilborne diseases.

Our TIF film effectively reduces the amount of fumigant required, producing a saving to both the farmer and the environment. Our film is also 100% recyclable.

Extend fresh films

Delivering fresh produce in perfect condition for use, is the goal of Richdale Plastics Extend Fresh film. It is designed to provide maximum shelf life of produce, reducing food spoilage and helping reduce waste.

Our film will allow fresh produce such as cut lettuce to stay fresh in excess of 14 days so as to optimise shelf life and usability.
